Initial premise of the Autonomous Women's Center is that policies, in order to fight against violence against women, at the local and national level should be consistent with international standards and good practices in this field. In accordance with the strategic goals, that the Convention of the United Nations and the Council of Europe should be implemented well by the state and that in the process of joining the European Union we must respect the human rights of women, Autonomous Women's Center consistently monitors the implementation of and advocates for a comprehensive, coherent, relevant, specific, efficient and effective national policies against violence against women.

Meeting on "Drafts of specifications of services and minimum standards for the first group of priority of social protection" was organized within the project Support for the implementation of the Strategy for Social Protection to support the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy on defining and developing structural and functional service standards in the field of social protection.

Services at the national level:

  1. Accommodation services in social protection institutions for children and youth, including OSI
  2. Accommodation services in social protection institutions for adults and the elderly, including the OSI
  3. Foster care

Social care services in the community, open forms of protection:

  1. Help and care at home
  2. Clubs for the elderly
  3. Supported housing
  4. Shelters
  5. Day care centers
  6. Personal assistant
