szs logo"The members of the Board of Appeal deemed the manner in which the newspapers report about the murder, it is unacceptable from an ethical standpoint because not only that the tragic event is presented as farce, but also the victim is further victimized - referred to as the culprit by which they practically justified the murder" , according to the decisions of the Commission of the Press Council adopted on 27 January, and on the appeals headed by the Autonomous Women's center for daily newspapers Alo and Informer.

The Appeals Committee of the Press Council has accepted the appeal in full, confirming that these articles violated provisions of the truthfulness of reporting (Chapter I of the Code of Journalists), the responsibilities of journalists (Chapter IV of the Code of Journalists) and respect for privacy (Chapter VII of the Code of journalists).
