The prEUgovor coalition will present its independent report of Serbia’s progress in implementation of policies in the area of judiciary and fundamental rights (Chapter 23) and justice, freedom and security (Chapter 24) at the conference in Media Center, on Friday, 20th May at 11:30am.
In addition to key recommendations for progress in Chapters 23 and 24 of membership negotiations with EU, the biggest attention will be drawn to the analysis of “Savamala case” and how it reflects the rule of law, how (non)transparent was the financing of the elections campaign, and the gender equality in Chapter 23. This event will also present investigative journalism stories that were developed within the prEUgovor coalition project.

The prEUgovor is a coalition of seven CSOs formed with the aim to monitor the implementation of policies within the framework of the Serbian accession process to the EU, focusing on Chapters 23 and 24. Mission of prEUgovor is to propose measures to improve the reforms, using the process of EU integration to achieve substantial progress in the further democratization of Serbia
