Autonomous Women's Center has launched a campaign "Stop violence. From words - to action!", which is aimed at decision-makers in Serbia, demanding that the Council of Europe Convention on Violence against women is consistently implemented.

Campaign messages are visible on the billboards and tram/bus stops in seven cities in Serbia, as well as on posters and LED screens in public transportation vehicles in Belgrade. The campaign has attracted a great public attention for a few days, bearing in mind that a large number of signatures has been collected via website and it was sent nearly 1,000 electronic postcards.

All who want to join the campaign can send an e-card of their choice to the Government of the Republic of Serbia, post it on a Facebook profile and/or a twitter account. In the next period there will be organized street actions, to which the citizens will be able to obtain a postcard in the paper form and send it to the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
