izvestaj-cedaw15 – 18/07/2013, Geneva: Government delegation of the Republic of Serbia presented its Second and Third periodic report on the implementation of the UN Convention on the elimination of all forms of discrimination of women (CEDAW), at the 55th session of the UN Committee for elimination of all forms of discrimination of women, which was held on July 18th, 2013 in Geneva. Government representatives spoke about legislative and institutional measures conducted in Serbia with the aim to improve the position of women in the country.

As a response to state report Committee was presented a Shadow report Shadow over Serbia written by women nongovernmental organizations Autonomous Women's Centre, ASTRA, Women in black, Labris and Voice of difference. This report states that there are still systematic obstacles for the protection of women's human rights in Serbia, and the CEDAW Committee was requested to set up strict demands to the state of Serbia in order to protect women from explicit deterioration of their rights.
