At a meeting of the Administrative Board of the Press Council an AWC Coordinator, Sanja Pavlovic, was selected to be a member of the Complaints Commission as a public representative for the coming four year period.

Aside from the AWC member, others were selected to represent the public as well: Faculty of Drama Arts professor, Ana Martinoli, and lawyer Rodoljub Sabic. Their mandate begins in September 2023.

The Autonomous Women’s Center is grateful for the confidence it has been bestowed with this selection and expresses hope that this act will contribute to increased quality and ethical reporting in media, especially so in relation to violence against women.
