Representatives of the Autonomous Women's Centre participated in the 4th European Conference on Domestic Violence, 13-15 September 2021, organized online in Ljubljana (Slovenia). More than 400 presentations on a large number of relevant topics and in various working formats were presented at this conference, and more than 650 representatives of the academic community, civil society organizations and experts took part. Representatives of AWC had three announcements, and one was a member of the Scientific Committee of this conference.
At the 4th European Conference on Domestic Violence, AWC representatives presented statements on the following topics:
- Vedrana Lacmanović, on the topic: Femicide committed by police officers in the last ten years in Serbia (session TA01, Femicide and homicide), Monday, 13. Sept. from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (abstract on p. 66);
- Tanja Ignjatović, Mirjana Mitić and Anja Zečević, on the topic: Challenges in response to the protection and support of the system in Serbia to the needs of women with experience of intimate partner violence and their children (session TC09, Institutional Barriers), Wednesday, 15.Sept. from 9.30 am to 11 am (abstract on p. 230);
- Vanja Macanović and Tanja Ignjatović, on the topic: Planning protection for victims / survivors - effects of the work of the Coordination and Cooperation Group in Belgrade (session TD11, Local Initiatives and Projects), Wednesday, 15.Sept. from 2.30 pm to 4 pm (abstract on p. 264);
Tanja Ignjatović was also a member of the Scientific Committee of the 4th European Conference on Domestic Violence.
