prirucnik za nastavnice nastavnikeThe aim of this International Conference was to open up space for discussion on different approaches and good practices in the field of prevention and fight against digital sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV), as well as to encourage exchange of experiences and connecting teachers around this topic.

The program of the Conference was realized through four introductory presentations and a discussion of participants from Serbia, Croatia, Hungary and Spain. The following topics were presented:

  • Youth and violence in the virtual environment - Do we know what is happening 'on the other side of the screen'? - Sabina Mandić, M.A. Ped. Soc, Assistant Professor, Department of Behavioral Disorders, Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences, University of Zagreb;
  • Like, like, like ... But where is the love? - Rebecca Baldwin, media educator;
  • What kind of pornography does your child watch? - members of NEM (Women's Movement - for one another), Hungary;
  • We are that important link! - Aleksandra Aksentijević, professor of literature and language with a Master's degree in Gender Studies, Belgrade and Vesna Ilić, psychologist at the Paraćin High School.

The Conference is organized as part of the EU project I can choose to say No - Empowering young people, especially girls, to oppose digital sexual and gender-based violence in partner relationships.
