Overall objective: contribution to the implementation of the National Strategy for improving the position of women and promoting gender equality (2009-2015)

The aim of the project: Capacity building (acquisition or further development of knowledge) of representatives of relevant state institutions, non-governmental organizations and representatives of local authorities for cooperation and coordinated action of community in the prevention and protection from violence against women and domestic violence.

The main project activities:

• The two-day seminars in seven cities / municipalities in Serbia: Organizing case conferences for protection against domestic violence and coordinated action of community in the prevention and protection from violence (14 training days)
• The three-day seminars in eight cities / municipalities in Serbia: Domestic violence and institutional protection and Organizing case conferences for protection against domestic violence (24 training days)
• Follow up activities: 15 local meetings and written and verbal communication with the participants of the seminar
• Public presentation of the results (round table) in Belgrade.
